Gainesville Moms

A place for moms to connect

I am a mom of 2 kids. My son is going into Jr high and my daughter is in elementary school. I am married to a the best man for me who loves me for me and my kids as his own.

I operate a home daycare in Hawthorne and teach the Bradley Method of Childbirth.

I am active in my church and with my kids. They go to our church dance group, scouts, cheer, school clubs and more. Summer is my time to relax and plan for the next school year. They spend part of the summer with their dad, so that gives me "my time" to refresh myself.

I enjoy beading, sewing, cooking (sometimes) and finding fun stuff for the kids and me to do.

Like most people, I am living the best I can with what I have. :)

Congrats on your new little one! We attend a church inside of Hawthorne, the Methodist church near city hall.

I actually have one starting up a week from Friday (Sept 9), which is going to held at the Birth Center in Gainesville.

I hold a class on Wednesday evenings in my home (in Hawthorne). A new one for that evening won't be starting until Nov. 2nd. A new class just got started for the Wednesday night one.

Both nights run 7-9pm.

You are more than welcome to email me at or call me on my cell 352-256-6201.

Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon :)

Do you have any childbirth classes comming up? I am familiar with the Bradley Method, but would love for my new husband to learn about it. I've been a little leary, some people into natural parenting are way into ... let's just say practices that don't glorify God. We currently attend a church outside of Hawthorne.
