Gainesville Fire Rescue is teaming up with NFPA during Fire Prevention Week, October 7-13, 2012, to urge residents to “Have Two Ways Out!” This year’s theme focuses on the importance of fire escape planning and practice.In 2010, U.S. fire departments responded to 369,500 home structure fires. Junior Fire Academy Summer 2012

I am happy to announce that we have set the dates for the Summer 2012 Junior Fire Academy! The Junior Fire Academy is put on by Gainesville Fire Rescue and it is a one week summer camp for middle school students (going into 6th grade through coming out of 8th).
