Tragic story that is meant to teach a lesson, MUST READ for all parents and caretakers

A fellow mom shared a link on Facebook to a tragic story about a family who lost their 3-year-old after an unsecured dresser fell on the child. This post really is a must-read for all parents and caretakers. The child woke up early, and in an effort to get just a little more sleep, the mom told the child to go back to bed. (I can totally relate!) When the dad later went into the child's room, he found her lifeless. Make sure you have a tissue!

We transitioned our very adventurous 2-year-old to a toddler bed a couple weeks ago, and before we did, we secured a tall shelf in her room to the wall. But we never secured her dresser. After reading this, I told my husband that I would not put my daughter to bed until her dresser was secured.
