State of Kansas trying to make sperm donor pay child support
Here is an interesting story. A mas answered a post by a lesbian couple in search of a sperm donor. The man agreed and has a signed paper saying he could not be held responsible for the child. Well, the couple split, and the mom filed for state assistance. Now, the state is going after the man to pay child support because the donation was not done through a doctor. The man directly gave the couple his donation.
Do you think this man should be responsible to pay in order to save the tax dollars money?

The sperm donor should not have to pay support it should be the "other mom" that pays child support. This is going to set a horrible precedent--now so many childless couples now need an egg or sperm won't have access. I wonder, if it were a hetero couple would they be going after the donor???? I think not....
