No more mail service on Saturday
I just read an article in The Sun that said the U.S. Postal Service will stop delivering mail on Saturdays in an effort to save money. The cutback is planned to begin in August. This cutback does not apply to package delivery.

The fact that this agency is struggling and cutting a delivery day makes me wonder about the future of mail delivery. I wonder is anyone will be sending anything via mail in twenty years.

I hardly ever use the USPS , only for sending packages.
Most of my family only use email Facebook....it's faster free and it's always right there when you need it.
I won't miss Sat delivery, most mail we get now are bills and junk mail, and that is just the ones that don't offer on-line bill pay.

I hope it stays around, as much as email and Skype keeps me close to my extended family, there is nothing that compares to getting a birthday card pun the mail or writing to Santa..
