Gainesville Moms

A place for moms to connect

My sister was just telling me that she takes her little man to Mothers Morning Out at her church every once in a while when she needs to get something done. She just pays a minimal fee for the day. Do you all know of any Mothers Morning/Day Out programs here in Gainesville that you would recommend? Or something similar?

Riley stays at home with me, but there are times when I really need to do something/go somewhere, and it would be nice if I could drop her off maybe one day a month. Just the other day, I had to let her sit on my lap while I had my teeth cleaned. That was pretty interesting, seeing as she kept wanting to reach in my mouth.

Plus, I think it would help her gain some independence.

Thanks!

YES! Actually, A Child's Acadamy is launching a drop-in program. www.achildsacademy.com/mommiesdayout
The Academy Preschool which is located at The Family Church has a Parent's Day Out program on Wednesday's.  You can choose from either a 1/2 day or full day program.  You can use it every week or just once in a while...your choice.  We've used it since last September and have been very pleased.  You won't find another center in town as clean as this one!

Sun Country is starting a program called Little Lunchers the first Friday of every month for kids ages 3-6.  Click here for details.

Also, I've compiled a list of all the places in town offering drop off programs for kids in Gainesville. Here is the link: www.fun4gatorkids.com/classes/dropoff
