Hey Moms!

I wanted to let you all know about some new site terms on GainesvilleMoms. Previously, the terms allowed no advertising in posts on GainesvilleMoms. But because we know there are many members who are starting family businesses, and moms like to support other moms, we are slightly changing the terms.

Members will be allowed to post about upstarting businesses, but the posts must be made here in the Bartering Forum on GainesvilleMoms.

Any and all posts are still subject to editor discretion, and if I feel a post is inappropriate, I will be able to delete the post. Also, if a post is made in the wrong forum category, the post will be moved to the bartering category.

And just to clarify, these posts may not sell products, nor can they include actual advertisements. The posts are just to let us know about your business. :-) If a post includes an actual advertisement, it will be removed, and the poster will be referred to The Sun's adertising department.

Hi everyone! I work for a non-profit financial services company, Modern Woodmen of America. We specialize in Planning for Life. These services include life insurance, savings plans, retirement planning and distribution, as well as estate and business planning.

One thing we do as a fraternal benefit society is donate many youth education programs to schools, daycares, churches, and anyone that would like to use them. There are programs for ecology awareness, financial literacy, patriotics civics program, safety and life skills (includes internet safety), and nutrition and fitness just to name a few. I am more than happy to donate these to homeschoolers or even summer camps since we are now approaching summer break. Again, these are 100% free and I will personally deliver them to anyone that is interested.

Hi Gainesville Mom's,

My name Is Ann Phillips. I've lived in Hawthorne, FL for 25 years. I raised my 4 children here and now we have 3 grand babies. I was a stay home mom for 12 years and back then I had a lot of fun being a Tupperware consultant and Home Interiors & Gift consultant. In the last 10 or so years I went out in the corporate world and had quite a few different jobs. At one time I used to sell Mobile homes at Gene Jim and Roys (westgate) in 05'. and my most recent job was last year I worked at an Auto insurance office. 

So it brings me to today. I started selling with a company called PartyLite, in April. I joined for a couple of reasons: One I loved being a consultant back when my kids were young because it gave me freedom and to work around them and not miss anything. Another is I loved going to parties and being around other adults. I had 4 kids back then and needed something for me and talking with other adults felt good. I chose this company because I knew about the quality in their products and know it has been around for forever and they actually just hit 40 years this past April.

The party consultant moms have come a long way from when I used to sell. They now give you your own personal website, tons of learning tools, and super support from your sponsors. I remember everything I did in the 90's we had to use a pencil and mail our orders in. Boy have times changed! Well to concluded I also picked PartyLite because its a combo of candles and decor. So far everyone I ask Do you like candles? I get a yes. The kit had three options to join, One was to earn it for free and I did this and no cost out of my pocket. Yeah me! Yes, I'm my own cheer learder! :)

Hi everyone, my wife and I run a flower delivery website www.florist2florist.com Being parents to three year old boy and five month baby girl, we certainly have our hands full! But our website offers a great way to organise flower deliveries in USA, Canada and most English speaking countries in the world.
