This reminds me of when I was bleaching the bathtub toys when the kids were little...they play with the toys in the bath then you throw them in the basket till the next night and after you do that for a week or so
When I cleaned mine out I would squash them with the water bleach mixture and black green nasty sluge would come out of the toys....from then on out they didn't get toys that could hold water.

Oh I know what you mean! My kids love the squirters, so I just make a point to always squirt them out after every bath and bleach them really often.
