Help for single moms
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows of any programs that help single moms with housing or daycare in the area.

I called harbor cove and Brookside but they are income restricted harbor cove is 570 a month for a 2 bedroom. There is an apartment complex in alachua called Sherwood oaks that a girlfriend of mine manages and it is income based and very affordable so that might be worth checking out. They are 2bed 1bath apts!

They go by ur income to determine ur rent and u get a credit for daycare as well!

Wow, three calls to DCF I'm sorry to hear that!! Instead of letting it worry you or make you upset, Take it as a Blessing, because to me that means...Doors are being open for some help. Have you ever heard that your enemies can be a blessing to you. DCF will help put your daughter in daycare and any other services you may need.
I know because the same thing happen to me years ago. Although nothing became of the accusations.... I was able to get childcare and everything else I needed through DCF. So hold your head up,live and continue being the wonderful mother that you are. God Bless You!!
