Any word on when and if sorority row will be doing an event this year?

That's this event: Ghouls, Goblins and Greeks - Thursday, October 27th 5-8PM  :)

Wow! There are even more events than I thought in the next few weeks! I love this time of year! :-)

I know! And this doesn't even include all the fall festivals, performances, family fun days (not related to Halloween), and other fun stuff happening. I love October too. So much to do. I just wish we could do it all!!

I just added 5 more events to the list, and I wanted to highlight two events taking place this weekend:

Pink Pumpkin Painting Party from 10-2 at the UF and Shands Breast Center. FUN for the whole family at the UF&Shands pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin and paint it PINK with Shands Arts in Medicine artists! Join us in honoring the lives of women diagnosed with breast cancer during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Must RSVP by October 14th by calling (352) 273-5718

Screaming for Safety from 5-8PM at Kiwanis Safety City provides a safe place for kids to Trick- or- Treat and it is a ‘one- stop- shop’ for safety information. Kids visit each safety station to win door prizes, and the first 100 children to complete all the stations win a free ice-cream from Sweet Dreams! Join the Costume Contest to win great prizes! (begins at 6:30). Come test your safety knowledge with Gainesville Fire Rescue, Safe Kids, Florida Poison Prevention, and more! Trick– or– Treat in a safe location! Plus enjoy a Haunted House and Sun Country Gym Bus, and Sweet Dreams will be there selling ice-cream as well! Admission is free, but please bring a canned food donation.

The Harvest Hoedown at the Easton Newberry Sports Complex is this Saturday and Heart of Florida Perks is selling tickets for $10.00 today.   That's a 50% savings if you were to buy your tickets at the door and a $5.00 savings if you were to pre-purchase tickets from them.      Here's the link...don't pass this offer up especially if you were planning on going!     The link also includes information about the event itself.

Where do you park to take part in the sorority event?

I'll be at the Trinity UMC trunk or treat today. Stop by my fun4gatorkids.com tent and say hi!
