Below is a list of GainesvilleMoms.com events we have throughout the year.
***We will only post the dates and times of our off-line events for safety reasons. Only members will receive details about the meeting place of events in a Private Message through the web site or via e-mail***
Here is a breakdown of the way the events are planned:
1. Parties: These events are open to your entire family, kids and spouses. We like to have parties around Holiday times!
2. Mom's Nights Out: An event open to moms only. We typically meet up for dinner and drinks at local restaurants on the last Friday of each month at 7 p.m.
3. Fieldtrips: Bring the whole family for a great time at a local attraction! We usually have a field trip once every couple months.
4. Playgroups: We have fun evening playgroups every once in a while at a local park. Check the site for details!

What are the rules for posting events? Can anyone do it? Are there any special rules we need to follow?
For example, I am holding a class in my area of Alachua county and would like to get the word out, can I post this event to the "Events" tab with all the info, or do I have to submit it to a mod and they post it for me?
Is there anything that is not encouraged to be posted?
Is it possible to post things we want to share with other moms here to let others know what is going on in addition to the great website, fun4gator kids?

Hi Tammy! The "Events" section on GainesvilleMoms is open to everyone. You can feel free to post community events. Members can also feel free to make events and share them only with certain members (like if you are having a birthday party for your child). Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey Joslyn! We typically get together about once a month, usually the last Friday of the month. I'll actually be posting details soon for our next event. Just RSVP on the forum for details. :-)
