So my husband and I have season tickets for FL homegames, but can't seem to come up with an affordable babysitting option for our 18 month old son. Is anyone else in the same boat? Are there any daycares or churches that have programs for game day babysitting at a decent rate? I can't afford to pay someone $10/hour for 5-6 hours everytime I want to go to a game :(

Sell half of the season tickets. Use the money so you can afford a decent babysitter for the other half of the season. $10 an hour is a fair rate, especially for an 18 month old.

That is a great suggestion...you would be extremely lucky to find cheaper than those rates.

Thanks for the suggestion, they are student tickets and we can't get more than $15 per ticket for the smaller games.

We own KidWorks at Tioga Town Center. Our staff runs their own Parents Night Out for home games. It's $8hr and they run it from two hours before kick off and two hours after the game ends. Includes food.

I don't know what their rate is, but O2B kids used to advertise game day babysitting.

I don't know O2B's policy, but at KidWorks, 100% of the money at a parent's night out goes directly to the staff working the event. Also you can check in on the kids at the game via our live streaming HD webcams  from your smartphone.

Mike - My nephew loves Kidworks as he is in your daily daycare and his parents have used the gameday babysitting and are very happy with it. I thought it was just for those enrolled. Are you saying anyone can use the service? I would drop my daughter off too on occasion for the game. They love it there.

Yes. They charge $1 more per hour for non-KidWorks kids and we need to have you fill out a DCF enrollment form to have on file. Just call the school ahead of time to be put on the roster for the specific game.

Great Thanks!
