Gainesville Moms

A place for moms to connect

I

've been searching for a great curricula for my girls for this year.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I am looking for something not as structured as FLVS.  Did that 2 years ago was too much for my taste.  I am a Certified Teacher and my girls will be in 5th grade & 8th grade this year.  I am looking for something that will align with the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards.  My oldest daughter used  Time 4 learning last year and really enjoyed it (as a supplement) but she completed the 7th & 8th grade levels and they unfortunately end at 8th grade... Would love to hear what other Moms out there are using...

since you've been doing it for a few years, how is it going for you?

I plan to homeschool also but my girls are 2 and 3 so we haven't started using any curricula. I looked at a lot of the different ones available but haven't found anything I like yet.
